We are unable to respond to appeals by telephone. If your vehicle has been issued with a PCN (Parking Charge Notice) and/or wheel clamped and/or removed, this will usually be because it was parked unlawfully on our client's property or against conditions displayed on our signage.

An appeal procedure can only be started once the payment of your penalty / release has been received by LPC. If you feel you have grounds for appeal, please do so within 28 days of the incident using the following method:

Please state your reason for appeal, and any other information you feel is relevant. This must be done within 28 days of the enforcement action or the appeal will not be valid. We will endeavor to respond in writing within 28 days with a decision.

Should you wish to pursue an appeal, please ensure your appeal contains the following information or we will be unable to process it any further:
- your name & full postal address including postcode
- your contact telephone number & email address if relevant
- your vehicle registration number
- the date of the contravention
- a copy of the receipt issued by London Parking Control (if applicable)
- any evidence you have to support your appeal


Appeals will NOT be considered for the following reasons:
- your permit fell down
- you forgot to display your permit
- you are waiting to receive a permit
- you have lost your permit and did not inform anybody
- there was nowhere else to park
- you were there for only one minute.

London Parking Control takes pride in providing a fair appeals service carried out by our experienced appeals team. The Team use photographic evidence, telephone conversation recordings between the payee and our control centre, CCTV if available and the site requirements of our client and also any evidence supplied by you. The Team is fully trained in the laws involving parking enforcement on private land and also carries out their duties in accordance with the BPA (British Parking Association) code of practice.

Once your appeal is received by us, it is scanned into our system and an acknowledgment letter will be sent to you by post. Should you wish to contact us about an appeal, you are advised not to do so until 28 days period from receiving our acknowledgment letter have passed. Our control centre will only be able to tell you the status of your appeal in our appeals procedure, they are unable to tell you the final decision.

If you are unhappy with the final decision you are welcome to write back to us if you have any new evidence. Alternately you may contact your local citizen's advice bureau who may be able to assist you further.
